Hey Mama,
Â
Sleep deprivation is SO hard.
Honestly, it’s a form of torture — except the people being tortured don’t have to spend the next day looking after children.
My daughter woke every two hours for the first 2.5 years of her life, and it nearly broke me. I used to fantasise about what Motherhood would feel like with sleep. She’s eight now and she finally sleeps through. Bedtime is still a never-ending circus, but a full night’s sleep feels like winning, so I’ll take it.
One of the only reasons I’m still standing (and I’m not being dramatic here) is because I found something that made my sleep deprivation bearable.
Yoga Nidra.
Yoga Nidra is a therapeutic practice a bit like a guided meditation or hypnosis — but easier. You don’t have to do anything. You just get cosy and listen to my voice. It translates as Yogic Sleep and it’s deeply healing for the body, the mind, and the nervous system.
It’s been used for everything from pain management and birth preparation to trauma, anxiety, chronic stress, and yes — sleep deprivation.
When my daughter finally napped (if she napped), I’d do a 15–20 minute Yoga Nidra and it felt like I’d had three hours of sleep. Because it works with deeper layers of consciousness than a normal nap, I could rest properly and still have time to shower or clear the kitchen.
It became my secret weapon. And I want to share that magick with you.
I’d love you to have this free Deep Rest & Reboot Yoga Nidra session.
There is nothing for you to do.
Just show up, get comfortable, and receive.
I’ll guide your body and nervous system into deep rest so you can feel replenished on a cellular level.
What you’ll need:
đź’¤A comfy space (bed, sofa, or yoga mat all work perfectly)
đź’¤Some headphones, blankets and pillows
💤An eye mask or something to gently cover your eyes if you like — a clean sock absolutely counts!
There’s nothing you need to do during this session — just show up, get cosy, and rest.
Baby with you? Totally fine.
If they nap, great. If they don’t, you can still receive everything you need.
