Terms & Conditions
1. Booking
Your place is confirmed once payment (or deposit, if applicable) has been received.
By booking, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions together with Emma Deery's General Terms & Conditions.
2. Payments & Refunds
Due to venue commitments and the small-group nature of this retreat, all payments are non-refundable.
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your place to another suitable participant up to 14 days before the retreat, subject to Emma Deery's approval.
If the retreat is cancelled by Emma Deery, all monies paid to Emma Deery will be refunded in full.
Emma Deery is not responsible for any costs incurred with third parties, including but not limited to flights, accommodation before or after the retreat, travel, insurance or other associated expenses.
3. Travel
The retreat takes place at:

Participants are responsible for arranging and paying for:
- travel from the UK to France
- passports and travel documentation
- any visas (if required)
- arrival at the designated transfer point
Airport transfers between the agreed airport and the retreat venue are included within the retreat package where specified.
Participants are responsible for arriving at the agreed transfer location at the published time.
4. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory.
By booking, you confirm that you will obtain suitable travel insurance before travelling.
Your policy should include, where appropriate:
- cancellation cover
- medical expenses
- personal belongings
- travel disruption
- personal liability
Emma Deery accepts no responsibility for losses that would ordinarily be covered by travel insurance.
5. Health & Participation
The retreat includes movement, mindfulness, embodiment practices and other wellbeing activities.
You are responsible for ensuring that you are physically and emotionally able to participate.
You agree to disclose any medical conditions, injuries, allergies or other information that may affect your participation before the retreat begins.
Emma Deery is not a medical or mental health practitioner and the retreat is not a substitute for medical, psychological or therapeutic treatment.
6. Food & Allergies
Meals will be provided throughout the retreat.
Dietary requirements should be communicated before arrival.
Whilst every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate dietary needs, meals are prepared in a domestic kitchen and cross-contamination cannot be guaranteed. Guests with severe allergies participate at their own discretion.
7. Liability
Participation is voluntary and at your own risk.
Emma Deery holds appropriate public liability insurance but cannot accept responsibility for:
- illness
- injury
- loss or damage to personal belongings
- travel disruption
- circumstances outside her reasonable control
Participants are responsible for their own wellbeing throughout the retreat.
8. Behaviour
The retreat is intended to provide a safe, respectful and supportive environment.
Emma Deery reserves the right to ask a participant to leave the retreat without refund where behaviour is unsafe, abusive or significantly disruptive.
9. Photography
Photographs or video may occasionally be taken for promotional purposes.
Your consent will always be requested before identifiable images are used.
10. Force Majeure
Emma Deery shall not be liable for cancellation or changes caused by events outside reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes or transport disruption.
Where possible, alternative arrangements will be offered, but refunds beyond monies paid to Emma Deery cannot be guaranteed.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
